Elite 24 game- Mikaylah Williams is doing a great job!

The Elite 24 game, an annual gathering of the top 24 high school basketball players in the country regardless of class, took place on August 20 in Brooklyn and Williams was one of the stars.
A 6-foot-1 guard/forward, Mikaylah Williams shined throughout the event. In the game itself, she tallied 11 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals in a losing effort. Williams was also one of the standouts in the Skills Challenge, where she placed second. And in the three-point contest, she made it all the way to the finals before coming up just short.
It was a great showing for Mikaylah Williams, who is ranked as the No. 8 player in the Class of 2019 by ESPN.

And to hit the game-winner, it was just an amazing feeling.”
The Elite 24 game pits two teams of the nation’s top 24 high school girls players in a showcase event. The game is played in memory of Cheap Jerseys Elite.
Elite 24 Mikaylah Williams put on a show early, scoring the game’s first six points. Playing for the defending Elite 24 champions, Team Cherry, Williams showcased an impressive all-around game throughout the contest. The 5-foot-9 guard was aggressive attacking the basket and also displayed a nice touch from beyond the arc, knocking down a pair of three-pointers. She finished with a game-high 20 points and also added four rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Other standouts for Team Cherry included 5-foot-8 guard Aaliyah Edwards, who scored 17 points, and 5-foot-9 forward Jazmine Massengill, who tallied 16 points and 10 rebounds. Playing for the Elite 24 All-Stars, 5-foot-11 guard Kamilla Cardoso was also impressive, scoring 16 points and pulling down eight rebounds.
Mikaylah Williams was named MVP of the game after leading her team to a 97-89 victory. She finished with 20 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals in the win. Elite 24 organizers also announced that Williams will have her own Elite 24 game jersey retired and hung in the rafters at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
It was a great showing by Mikaylah Williams, who put on a great all-around performance to lead her team to victory.
Now that the Elite 24 game is over, Williams will turn her attention to her senior season at Parkway High School. She’s already committed to play college basketball at LSU, so she has a bright future ahead of her.
