5 teams confirmed for F1 inaugural season.
F1 has confirmed five teams will be competing in the F1 Academy’s inaugural season, and they are: Team Alpha, Team Bravo, Team Charlie, Team Delta and Team Echo. These teams have been chosen as F1’s top talent from around the world to take part in this exciting new competition.
F1 is confident that the Academy will be a great platform to nurture the F1 champions of tomorrow. The F1 teams have been chosen based on their performance in F1 races and tests, as well as their potential for success in the F1 Academy.
Each team will have two drivers - one male and one female - who they can choose from a pool of talent selected during F1’s scouting process. The five teams have been chosen based on their current presence in F1 and the opportunities they provide for young drivers to gain valuable experience.
The goal of F1’s new initiative is to increase the number of female racing drivers competing at F1 level, and ultimately create a more diverse, inclusive F1 grid. F1 is committed to making the sport more accessible and encouraging more women into the sport in all capacities, from drivers to mechanics and engineers.
The inaugural 2023 F1 season promises to be an exciting one with new teams, new drivers and a commitment to creating a better future for F1. The F1 Academy is set to be an exciting competition that will see drivers from all over the world compete for F1 glory.
F1 is committed to providing an equal playing field for all competitors regardless of their nationality or gender. F1 strongly encourages diversity and inclusion in the F1 Academy and hopes that this competition will be a catalyst for progress and change in F1 racing.
