Abbi Pulling is promising to do her best at the W Series P2 battle.

The 19-year-old rising star is currently challenging for second place in the 2022 Championship, and a strong performance in Sunday’s night race could give her a big boost.
Singapore is a special place for Abbi Pulling. It was here that she made her W Series debut in 2019, and it’s also the scene of her first podium finish in the series. Now she’s back and looking to repeat that feat.
The 19-year-old British racer will line up on the grid for Sunday’s race, which will mark her fourth start in the W Series. Pulling has had a solid season so far, finishing in the points in all three races.
Speaking ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix, Pulling said: “I’m feeling confident going into Singapore. It’s a new track for everyone in the W Series, so it’s going to be a level playing field.
“I’ve been doing my homework and studying onboard footage and data to try and get to grips with the layout as much as possible. I’m feeling positive and hopeful for a good result.”
Pulling added that she is relishing the challenge of racing at Singapore’s iconic Marina Bay Street Circuit. “It looks like an amazing track and I can’t wait to experience it for myself,” she said. “I think it will suit my driving style and I’m really looking forward to the challenge.”
With Singapore being a night race, Pulling is also relishing the opportunity to race under the lights. “Racing at night is always special,” she said. “There’s something about racing under the lights that makes it extra atmospheric. I can’t wait to experience it.”
With Singapore being a street circuit, tyre management will be crucial and Pulling is aware that she will need to look after her tyres if she wants to be in contention for a strong finish.
“It’s going to be important to look after the tyres and make sure we don’t overuse them,” she said. “If we can do that, I think we’ll be in good shape.”
