All we know about the future fight of Claressa Shields and Savannah Marshall.

Claressa Shields (9-0, 2 KOs) is the two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and current Undisputed Women’s Middleweight Champion. Claressa had an outstanding amateur career, culminating in her becoming the first American woman to win back-to-back Olympic Gold Medals in boxing.
Claressa made her professional debut in 2016, and has since won world titles at both Super Middleweight and Middleweight. Claressa is without doubt the biggest star in Women’s boxing, and is widely considered to be one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the sport.
Savannah Marshall (7-0, 6 KOs) is a former World Amateur Champion and current WBO Middleweight champion. Savannah made her professional debut in 2018, and has since looked very impressive in racking up seven wins, all by way of knockout.
While Claressa is the more well-known fighter, it is Savannah who enters this contest as the reigning world champion. Claressa Shields will put her WBC, WBA, IBF and Ring Magazine middleweight belts on the line when she faces Savannah Marshall.
The American star is unbeaten in 10 professional fights, with two victories coming by way of knockout, and is looking to add another world title to her ollection.
Marshall, on the other hand, is the WBO champion and will be looking to upset the odds and hand Shields her first professional defeat. The two fighters have a shared history, with Marshall defeating Shields in the semi-finals of the 2011 World Championships.
The fight will take place on the undercard of Canelo Alvarez vs. Callum Smith, which is set to be one of the biggest boxing events since 2020. Claressa and Savannah are both promoted by Matchroom Boxing, which means that the fight will likely take place in the United States.
There is no date or venue set for Claressa vs. Savannah at this time, but we will update this article as soon as more information is made available.
