Arsenal's player Beth Mead was recently injured playing against Man United.

Arsenal are now without one of their key players and will have to find a way to fill the void Beth Mead leaves behind. Arsenal manager Joe Montemurro had this to say about the injury: “It’s obviously not great news and it’s a huge blow for both Arsenal and Beth personally.
She has been an incredible servant for Arsenal over the past few years and her contribution have been immense. This injury is a huge setback for her, but she has the full support of everyone at Arsenal and we wish her all the best in her recovery.
Man United manager Casey Stoney also expressed her sympathies: “Beth Mead’s injury is unfortunate and our thoughts are with her during this difficult time. She is one of the most talented players in the WSL, and we wish her a speedy recovery.”
Arsenal will now need to find a way to replace Beth Mead’s contribution to their team, and they have already begun searching for suitable replacements. Arsenal was fighting an uphill battle against Man United, and without Mead’s presence on the pitch, Arsenal’s chances of winning that match have significantly decreased.
Mead had established herself as a formidable player at Arsenal since 2016, and she had been tipped for even greater things in the future. She has scored 15 goals in 59 appearances for Arsenal, and was also part of the England squad that won the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
With Beth Mead now out of action, Arsenal will need to find someone new to step up and lead their attack. Every Arsenal and England fan will be hoping that Beth Mead makes a speedy recovery and returns to the pitch soon. Until then, Arsenal must find a way to cope without her while England search for a suitable replacement.
