Aurora Galli has spoken about the urge of including women's teams.

In an exclusive interview with FIFA.com, the 26-year-old Aurora Galli attacking midfielder reflects on her footballing journey so far and urges more women’s teams to be included in FIFA 23.
“I started playing football when I was six years old,” Galli begins. “My dad is a big fan of the game and he introduced me to it. I remember being the only girl on my team and I loved it. I have always loved Everton. I used to play as them on FIFA all the time when I was younger. It is a dream come true to be able to represent them in real life now.”
Galli made her professional debut in 2019 and has since gone on to make over 30 appearances for Everton. “The 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup was a special moment for me,” she says. “I was so proud to be able to represent my country on the biggest stage.”
“It is important that more women’s teams are included in FIFA 23. It would be great for the game and for young girls who want to see themselves represented in the game. I would love to see more Italian teams included too. I think it would be great for the growth of the women’s game in Italy.”
Galli is an ambassador for Everton in the Community and is passionate about using her platform to inspire the next generation of female footballers. “It is so important to have role models in the game,” she says. “When I was younger, I didn’t have many female role models to look up to.
“I hope that I can be a role model for young girls and inspire them to pursue their dreams.” Aurora Galli is passionate about using her platform to inspire the next generation of female footballers.
