Becky Lynch and her injury on WWE SummerSlam.

The WWE Universe was shocked when it appeared that Lynch may have been injured during the match. The WWE Universe were given a shock early on when Lynch suffered an injury, with ‘The Man’ clutching her knee in pain after a move from Belair.
It was later revealed that Lynch had suffered a torn ligament in her knee and she was taken to hospital for further treatment. This injury could put Lynch out of action for a significant amount of time, and WWE will no doubt be sweating on the results of her scans.
While there is no official word on the extent of Lynch’s injury, it is being speculated that she may have suffered a dislocated shoulder.
However, it was a brutal elbow drop from Becky Lynch onto Natalya which ultimately led to The Man retaining her WWE Raw Women’s Championship.
However, in the process of delivering that elbow drop, Lynch may have seriously injured herself as she was seen clutching at her arm immediately after the move.
WWE’s medical team checked on Lynch following the match and she was eventually able to make her way to the back under her own power. There’s no word yet on the extent of Lynch’s injury, but WWE will no doubt be keeping a close eye on The Man as she looks to continue her reign atop the Raw women’s division.
The WWE has not released an official statement as of this writing, but it’s being reported that Lynch suffered a concussion during the match. If that is the case, then it’s possible that she will have to miss some time due to WWE’s concussion policy. “Becky Lynch was evaluated by WWE medical personnel after her match with Natalya and was cleared to compete. However, WWE has determined that it is best for her to not compete tonight.”
This is a developing story and we will provide updates as they become available.
