Bella Bixby speaks to Thorns' fans- 'We need you now more than ever'.

“As we enter the playoffs, we need you now more than ever,” Bella wrote. “Your support through thick and thin has been immense and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

“We understand that some of you may be feeling conflicted about cheering for us in the wake of recent events. Please know that we hear you, see you and respect your decision.

“What happened was sickening, and it’s not something that should be swept under the rug. We need to hold ourselves and each other accountable so that something like this never happens again.

“We also need to remember that we are all on the same team. We are all fighting for the same goal: to make this world a better place for everyone.

“So, as we enter the playoffs, let’s remember what we’re fighting for. Let’s come together and show the world what we’re made of.

“We need you now more than ever,” Thorns midfielder Bella Bixby said in a message to fans. “Your support during the regular season was incredible and we want to keep that going through the playoffs.”

Bixby and the Thorns are looking to make a run at the NWSL Championship, but they’ll need all the support they can get from fans. So if you’re able, come out to Providence Park and cheer on the Thorns! You could be the difference in them winning it all.

In an interview with the Portland Tribune, Bella Bixby addressed the Thorns’ fans directly. “We need you now more than ever,” Bixby said. “Your support means everything to us.” Bixby went on to discuss how important it is for the Thorns to have a strong and passionate fan base.

“We really appreciate everything our fans do for us,” Bixby said. “Without them, we wouldn’t be able to do what we love.” Bixby also spoke about the importance of continuing to grow the game of women’s soccer.
