Canada Soccer Women’s National Team Head Coach Bev Priestman is one of five nominees for The Best FIFA Football Awards 2022 - the annual awards ceremony to honour the best players and coaches in world football.

Priestman has led Canada since 2020, taking Canada to top-five finishes at the Algarve Cup and SheBelieves Cup, as well as a successful Concacaf Women’s Olympic Qualifying Championship, where Canada qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

In October of 2021 Canada Soccer Women’s National Team had a historic win over USA in Orlando, Florida, that ended their 41-game unbeaten streak. Canada was also awarded its first ever CONCACAF women’s team of the year award.

Canada put in a remarkable performance throughout 2021, achieving an impressive 12-1-2 record and climbing to third place in the FIFA Women’s World Rankings. These accomplishments earned Canada Soccer Women’s National Team Head Coach Bev Priestman a nomination for The Best FIFA Football Awards 2022.
