British pole vaulter Holly Bradshaw could not take the participation in the World Athletics Championships after getting in a strange accident.

The 25-year Holly Bradshow was getting ready to compete in the qualifying round when she was hit by a sudden gust of a wind.The force of the wind knocked her off balance and she fell akwardly to the ground. Bradshaw was taken to hospital for treatment and it was later confirmed that she had suffered a dislocated elbow and injured her ankle. The British pole vaulter had been in good form leading up to the World Athletics Championships, but she was unable to take part in the event after getting in a strange accident. “It’s the first time it’s ever happened in my career, so it’s a great time for it to happen. I hope it never happens again", - says Holly.
