Carlos Alcaraz has paid tribute to Iga Swiatek after her successfull year.
The 19-year old Pole won the French Open in 2020, becoming only the fourth teenager to achieve the feat since Margaret Court in 1962. Carlos praised Iga for her incredible achievement and congratulated her on a great year of tennis.
Carlos said “Iga Swiatek is an inspiration to all of us. Her success this year shows that anything is possible with hard work and dedication. I would like to congratulate her on a great year of tennis - she’s an incredible player and deserves all the recognition she is getting.”
Carlos believes that Iga’s success should motivate other young players to keep working hard in pursuit of their goals. Carlos added “Iga has shown us that everyone can make it if they are willing to put in the effort. I hope her success inspires other young players to continue working hard and never give up on their dreams.”
