Claressa Shields complained about the postponed fight with Savannah Marshall.

Claressa Shields, the two-time Olympic gold medalist from Flint, Michigan, was supposed to face Savannah Marshall in a world title unification bout on Saturday night at The O2 in London.
Shields (9-0, 2 KOs), the reigning WBC and WBO female middleweight champion, took to social media to express her disappointment with the postponement.
“I’m extremely disappointed that my fight against Savannah Marshall has been postponed,” Shields said. “I was looking forward to unifying the titles and cementing my legacy as the best middleweight in the world."
Claressa Shields reacted angrily to the news, taking to social media to express her frustration. “I’m so sick and tired of these postponements,” she wrote. “I’ve been in training camp for months and I’m ready to fight. Savannah Marshall is a coward and she’s avoiding me.”
Claressa Shields is the reigning Olympic, World and unified champion at middleweight. She is undefeated as a professional, with eight wins from eight fights.
Savannah Marshall is also a former Olympic boxer, representing Great Britain at the 2012 Games in London. She has a professional record of eight wins and one loss.
The American superstar took to social media to express her frustration at the situation, and also suggested that she may look to fight another opponent in the meantime. “I’m so ready to fight! I don’t understand how this keeps happening,” Shields wrote on Twitter.
“I’ve been in training camp for over two months now and I’m in the best shape of my life. I want to fight Savannah Marshall, but if she can’t make it then I’ll fight somebody else.”
Claressa Shields is widely regarded as one of the best female boxers in the world, and she is the current WBC, WBA and IBF middleweight champion.
Savannah Marshall is also unbeaten as a professional, and she holds the WBO middleweight title.
The postponement of their fight is a huge disappointment for both fighters and fans alike, as it was shaping up to be one of the biggest all-Female bouts in boxing history.
