Does Alex Morgan have all the chances to win the Best FIFA Women’s Player Award?

She has achieved remarkable milestones over the years since her professional debut, making her an ideal candidate for FIFA’s Best FIFA Women’s Player Award. Morgan has been one of FIFA’s most recognized stars and was named FIFA Women’s Player of the Year in 2019.

She is also a two-time Olympic gold medalist and a FIFA Women’s World Cup champion, having captained the USA team to their fourth FIFA Women’s World Cup title in 2019. Given her long list of accolades and achievements, it is no surprise that she has been nominated for FIFA’s Best FIFA Women’s Player Award.

She won FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2019 and was named the tournament’s best player. She has also been instrumental in her team’s successes at FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup 2008, FIFA Women’s Olympic Football Tournament 2012 and FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015, as well as back-to-back CONCACAF titles in 2018 and 2019.

Morgan has won numerous awards, including FIFA Women’s World Cup Golden Boot in 2013, FIFA Women’s Player of the Year in 2020 and six U.S Soccer Female Athlete of the Year awards. With such a stellar track record, it is no surprise that Alex Morgan is considered to be one of the favorites for FIFA’s Women’s Player Award.

While FIFA has yet to announce who will win the award, Morgan certainly stands a good chance of taking it home. Only time will tell for certain, but there is no doubt that she deserves to be in the running. All we can do now is wait and see who FIFA announces as the winner of this prestigious award.
