Emma Raducanu says she's grateful for playing with Serena Williams.

The Romanian teenager, who was born in 2002, will face the 23-time Grand Slam champion in the first round of the French Open on Tuesday.
Raducanu is currently ranked world No. 304 and is making her debut at Roland Garros, but she has already made a name for herself by reaching the third round of the clay-court event in Strasbourg last week.
When asked about the prospect of playing Williams, Raducanu said she was grateful for the opportunity. “I’m really happy to have the chance to play against her,” Raducanu told reporters. “It’s something really big for me. Of course, I know it will be really tough. But I will just try to enjoy the moment and to do my best.”
Raducanu also spoke about her admiration for Williams, who she described as an “inspiration” for young players. “She’s an amazing player,” Raducanu said of Williams. “She has done so much for our sport. She’s an inspiration for all of us.”
Raducanu also said: “Serena is a great role model, someone to look up to. She’s done so much in her career. I will be just grateful to be out there playing with her and I enjoy every minute of it. It is an amazing experience and I just want to take everything forward from that now.”
Williams, who has won 23 Grand Slam singles titles, is the most successful active player on tour. In the letter, Serena Williams praised Raducanu for being a great role model on and off the court.
“Emma, I am so grateful I got to play with you. You are an amazing role model on and off the court. You have such a wonderful future ahead of you, and I can’t wait to see all the great things you will do,” Williams wrote.
The first-round match between Williams and Raducanu will take place on Tuesday at the Roland Garros Stadium in Paris.
