Emma Raducanu's excellent and remarkable moments in tennis.

The Romanian player has had to deal with several injuries, but when she’s healthy and on form, she can be a dangerous opponent for anyone. Emma started playing tennis at the age of five and turned professional ten years later.
Her biggest accomplishments came in 2016, when she won the Bucharest Open and reached the semifinals of the Baku Cup. Emma has also won several ITF titles, and her highest ranking is world no. 68, which she achieved in September 2019.
Raducanu has since gone on to reach two further WTA quarter-finals, at the Ostrava Open and Guangzhou International Women’s Open, and has risen to No.129 in the world.
Looking back on her achievements over the past year, Raducanu said: “It’s been a crazy 12 months. I never would have thought that I would be where I am today. I’m just trying to take it one day at a time and not get too ahead of myself. I just want to keep working hard and see where it takes me.”
However, Emma Raducanu has shown glimpses of her undoubted talent in recent months and will be hoping to make a real splash on the Tour in the coming years. The teenager first hit the headlines when she made it all the way to the final of the French Open junior tournament in 2018, before going one better at Wimbledon a month later.
Those results saw her break into the Top 200 of the WTA rankings and she has since reached a career-high of World No.143. Raducanu made her senior Grand Slam debut at the 2019 Australian Open but lost in the first round to fellow Briton Harriet Dart.
She will be hoping for a better showing at Wimbledon this year but will have to negotiate her way through qualifying first. Emma Raducanu will be one to watch in the coming years as she looks to make a name for herself on the WTA Tour.
