Savannah Marshall is the reigning WBO middleweight champion, and is undefeated in her professional career with a record of 8-0 with 1 KO. She too is a former Olympian, representing Great Britain in the 2012 games.

Claressa Shields vs. Savannah Marshall was supposed to be a highly-anticipated fight between two of the best female boxers in the world. However, the contest was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Both women are undefeated in their professional careers, and are former Olympians.
The fight was officially postponed because of Queen Elizabeth’s death on the 9th of September. Now the fight will be on the 15th of October.
Claressa Shields and Savannah Marshall will put their undefeated records on the line in a long-awaited rematch, with Claressa’s WBO and WBC titles also up for grabs.
Claressa won the first fight back in August 2020 via unanimous decision, but many thought that Savannah deserved the victory. So, this second bout is highly anticipated and is sure to be a classic. Claressa has stated that she wants to unify all of the belts in the division, so a win against Savannah would put her one step closer to her goal.
