Hannah Hampton has been dropped by England during national team camps.

The 21-year-old Hannah Hampton, who was part of the Lionesses’ squad that won the SheBelieves Cup in March, is said to have clashed with head coach Phil Neville.
Hampton is understood to have upset Neville by turning up late for a team meeting and then leaving camp early without permission. She has also been accused of failing to follow the team’s strict code of conduct, which includes a curfew.
Hampton has been left out of England’s squad for their upcoming friendlies against Canada and Spain. It is not yet clear if she will be recalled for future camps or matches.
The England and Manchester City goalkeeper is one of the brightest talents in the country and has been tipped for a bright future. However, her future with the national team now appears to be in doubt.
Hampton’s exclusion has been met with criticism from some quarters, with former England internationals Karen Carney and Alex Scott both questioning the decision.
“I’m bemused as to why Hannah Hampton isn’t in the squad,” Scott said on Twitter. “I thought she had a great chance of being England’s number one.” Carney added: “I agree with Alex. Hannah had a great season with Birmingham and has been in good form for England U21s. I don’t understand the decision.”
Hampton has not responded to the criticisms publicly, but will be hoping to get back into the England fold sooner rather than later.
