Holly Bradshow and Tess Howard have spoken on sports kits for women and girls.

Holly Bradshow, a designer who has worked on sports kits for Olympians and other elite athletes, and Tess Howard, a writer who covers the intersection of gender and sports, join host Jessica Luther to discuss the design of women’s sports kits, how they differ from men’s kits, and the ways in which they can be improved.
Holly and Tess also talk about the importance of including women’s sports teams in video games and other media, and the need for more female sportscasters.

The panel agreed that there is still more work to be done to get more girls into sport, but they were optimistic about the future. Holly Bradshaw said she hoped that her success would inspire other girls to take up javelin, and Tess Howard said she hoped to see more girls playing hockey.
