Jessie Fleming won the 2022 Canada Soccer Player of the Year.

Canada Soccer Women is proud to recognize one of Canada’s top athletes, Jessie Fleming, for her tremendous achievements in 2022. To become Canada Soccer Player of the Year for 2022, Fleming had to beat out some tough competition from Canada’s other talented women soccer players.

Her hard work and dedication paid off as she was awarded Canada Soccer Player of the Year for 2022. Canada Soccer Women celebrates her accomplishments and looks forward to supporting Fleming as she continues to excel in the sport.

Canada Soccer Women, led by Canada Soccer Player of the Year 2022 winner Jessie Fleming, capped off an incredible tournament run with a first-place finish.

Canada won all five matches in the competition and have now qualified for the 2022 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia/New Zealand. Canada Soccer will look to build on this success and cement their place as one of the top teams in women’s soccer.

Canada Soccer and Jessie Fleming have worked hard to achieve this success, and it is an incredible accomplishment for Canada Soccer Women. Canada Soccer Women’s National Team Coach Bev Priestman recognized Fleming’s “incredible impact on the pitch”, both with Canada and her club team. Her play was a major factor in Canada’s success throughout 2022, culminating in her Canada Soccer Player of the Year award win.

Canada Soccer President Steven Reed said that “Jessie’s on-field leadership has been a highlight of Canada Soccer Women’s National Team program in 2022 and her performance was rewarded with Canada Soccer Player of the Year honors.” Congratulations to Jessie Fleming for being named Canada Soccer 2022 Player of the Year!
