Kelsey Plum reveals her succes story.

Born and raised in Poway, California, Kelsey Plum was a star player at La Jolla Country Day School, leading her team to four consecutive state championships. She then went on to have an incredible college career at the University of Washington, where she became the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer with 3,527 points.
In 2017, Plum was drafted first overall by the San Antonio Stars in the WNBA Draft. And though she’s only been in the league for one season, she’s already making a huge impact, averaging 17.5 points per game and being named to the All-Star team.
“I remember thinking, ‘I want to do that. I want to be one of those players,’” Plum recalls. “From that moment on, I was hooked.” “It’s been an unbelievable ride so far,” Plum says. “I’m just trying to enjoy every minute of it.”
And she’s not done yet. Plum has her sights set on even bigger goals. “I want to be one of the best players in the world,” she says. “I want to be remembered as someone who made a difference.”
Kelsey Plum quickly began to develop a reputation as one of the best young players in San Diego. By the time she entered high school, Plum was already one of the top recruits in the country.
Despite her success at the high school level, Kelsey Plum still had doubters. Many questioned whether her game would translate to the college level, where she would be playing against much bigger and stronger competition.
But Kelsey Plum silenced her doubters with an incredible freshman season at the University of Washington. She averaged 24.6 points per game, which was good enough for second in the nation.
Plum’s success continued into her sophomore season as she averaged 26.4 points per game and led the Huskies to their first ever NCAA tournament appearance. Kelsey Plum did end up becoming one of those players. And now, at just 23 years old, she’s already considered one of the best basketball players in the world.
She is now considered one of the best players in the country and is a leading candidate for the National Player of the Year award. She has also been selected as a finalist for the Wooden Award, which is given to the nation’s top collegiate player.
Kelsey Plum is living proof that hard work and dedication can lead to success, no matter what obstacles are in your way. She is an inspiration to young girls everywhere and is quickly becoming one of the faces of women’s basketball.
There’s no doubt that Kelsey Plum is well on her way to achieving all of her goals. And we can’t wait to see what she does next.
