Lucy Bronze has shared point of view at the recent FIFPRO Global Player Council. " My role is to make sure that the women’s game is heard, and that we have a seat at the table when decisions are being made that affect us."

“I want to help give a voice to everyone in women’s football, whether they are professional or amateur, and make sure that their views are considered. There are a lot of issues that need to be addressed in our game, and I feel that I can make a difference.”

“I’m looking forward to working with the other members of the Global Player Council, and hope that we can make positive changes for all players in football. FIFPRO is in a great position to fight for change and I’m looking forward to being a part of that.”

“There are 12 of us on the FIFPRO Global Player Council and we come from all different corners of the world. I think it’s important to have a good mix of players, from different continents and different cultures, so that we can get a good understanding of the game globally.”

“I was recently elected onto the FIFPRO Global Player Council, which is the first time a women’s player has been voted in by their peers from around the world,” Bronze said. “It’s a really big responsibility and I want to make sure that I help give a voice to everyone in women’s football.”

“My main focus will be on player welfare, which is something that’s really important to me, and also making sure that we continue to grow the game globally.” Bronze continued: “It’s an honour to be able to represent players from all over the world and I’m looking forward to working with everyone on the council to make sure that our voices are heard.”
