Lucy Bronze has enjoyed one of the most decorated careers in women’s football.

The Englishwoman has won the FA WSL, Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, FA Cup, and more. She was also named FIFA’s Best Women’s Player in 2020.

“It’s a really exciting time to be an England player,” Lucy said. “The World Cup is always the pinnacle of any footballer’s career, but a Euros is special too.”

“It feels like it’s been a long time coming since we last played in one, so the whole squad was just so excited to get out there and compete.”

Lucy is one of the most experienced members of the England squad, and her leadership will be crucial if they are to go all the way in the tournament.

“I think our biggest strength is that we have a really good mix of youth and experience,” Lucy said. “There are a lot of us who have been there and done it at the highest level, but we also have some really exciting young players coming through.”

“It’s been nice to see the support from back home and everyone getting excited about the tournament. I think it’s going to be really special.”

“I feel like I’ve been on a bit of a rollercoaster over the last few years. After the World Cup in 2015, I had a tough time at my club, Manchester City. I was struggling with injuries and didn’t feel like I was playing my best football.”

“But then I moved to Olympique Lyonnais in 2017 and everything changed. I started enjoying my football again and winning trophies. And now, after winning Euro 2022, I feel like I’m at the top of my game.”

“I’m so excited for the future and what lies ahead for me and the team. We’ve got some great players and I think we can achieve even more success. Bring on the next adventure!”
