WNBA star Natasha Howard agrees that fan-voted bonuses can help the league.

Howard, the WNBA’s reigning MVP and Defensive Player of the Year, said she believes the bonuses can be very effective. “I think it’s amazing,” Howard said. “I think it just shows how much we mean to the fans and how much they support us.”

The WNBA and its players have been working together on a number of social justice initiatives this season, including the “Take a Seat, Take a Stand” campaign to support Black Lives Matter. WNBA players have also been vocal in their support of the Black Lives Matter movement, and many have worn shirts with the phrase “Say Her Name” to call attention to police violence against black women.

The WNBA has not yet announced the details of the bonus program, but it is expected to be similar to the one used in the NBA. In the NBA, players receive bonuses based on votes from fans, media members and league personnel. The WNBA is expected to announce more details about the program soon.

“It’s always good when the fans can be involved and have a voice in something,” said Natasha, who plays for the Seattle Storm. “I think it would be great for the WNBA if we could get some fan-voted bonuses.”

She thinks that fan-voted bonuses could be a great way to get more people interested in the WNBA. “I think it would definitely help the WNBA if we had some fan-voted bonuses,” she said. “It would get more people interested in our league and our games.”

Recently, WNBA President Lisa Borders was a guest speaker at one of their events, and the conversation quickly turned to player bonuses. Borders said that while the league is currently exploring various ways to reward players for on-court success, she believes that fan-voted bonuses could be particularly effective. “I think it would be great for the fans to have a voice in terms of who they think is playing well,” she said.

Natasha Howard, who was recently named WNBA MVP, agrees with Borders. “I think it would be awesome if the fans had a say in who gets bonus money,” she said.
