Orlando Pride might return back to Orlando Club.

“As we look to continue building a championship-caliber club, it is essential that we invest in every area of our soccer operations,” Orlando City CEO Alex Leitão said in a statement. “These changes will allow us to better compete at the highest level and provide Seb with the resources he needs to improve our first team.”
Seb Hines, 34, has been with Orlando since 2016 and helped the club win two USL Championships (2017, 2018) and one MLS Cup (2020). He will now be responsible for all aspects of soccer operations, including first team personnel decisions, academy operations and player development.
“I am very grateful to the club for this opportunity to lead Orlando Pride,” Hines said in a statement. “I am looking forward to continuing to build a winning culture at the club and am committed to bringing a NWSL Championship to Orlando.”
Orlando also announced that it has hired former U.S. international Andreas Herzog as its first-ever Director of Soccer. Herzog, who has more than 25 years of experience in the game, will oversee all soccer operations for the club, including the first team, academy and Orlando Pride.
“We are very excited to welcome Andreas to Orlando City SC,” Leitão said. “His wealth of experience and knowledge of the game will be a valuable asset to our club as we continue to strive for excellence on and off the field.”
Herzog, 53, has worked as a head coach at the youth, club and international levels, including stints with the Austrian national team, New York Cosmos and Seattle Sounders FC. He also served as an assistant coach for the German national team at the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
