The veteran NFL analyst had an impressive career prior to embarking on the NFL coaching path. She was a respected sideline reporter and studio analyst covering the NFL, NFL Europe League and NFL Draft for NFL Network, ESPN, NFL.com and college football for Fox Sports Net.

NFL Network Followed her journey as she worked with NFL veterans such as Lorenzo Alexander and Johnathan Meeks, where Phoebe was put to the test in order to prove she had what it takes. The NFL experience provided Phoebe with invaluable knowledge of how the NFL works and further inspired her to continue on her coaching journey.

It was this NFL experience that ultimately led to Phoebe being offered the historic role of Head Coach for the Buffalo Bills in 2019. Since taking up her role at the Buffalo Bills, Phoebe has worked tirelessly to ensure the team is firing on all cylinders. Through her leadership and guidance, she has been able to motivate and inspire players to reach their full potential, and has been applauded for her efforts.

Schecter also ran NFL Draft day operations for NFL Network as well as served on-air talent for NFL Network’s Total Access and Path to the Draft. But in 2020, Schecter took on a new challenge. She became the first woman NFL head coach, taking on the reins of the Buffalo Bills. Her appointment was made official by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell who said he was “thrilled to have Phoebe at the helm in Buffalo”.

Schecter’s NFL experience and knowledge has been invaluable in her new role as head coach. She has already proven to be an outstanding leader, making bold decisions and helping the Bills reach a winning record.

At Super Bowl LVII, NFL fans will get to witness history as Phoebe Schecter takes her place on NFL’s grandest stage. It will serve as proof of her immense success as both an NFL analyst and NFL head coach, and a reminder of the hard work she put in to get to where she is today.
