Rachel Rowe has produced an insane double at WSL.

Rachel Rowe, who only joined Reading in September, had been on the pitch for less than 10 minutes when she made an instant impact. The 30-year-old latched onto a long ball over the top of the Leicester defence before lobbing the goalkeeper with aplomb to make it 1-0.
Two minutes later, Rowe was at it again. This time she cut inside from the left before finding the bottom corner with a composed finish to double her and Reading’s tally. The two goals were enough to secure all three points for the Royals, who had been bottom of the WSL table prior to today’s game.
Speaking after the match, Rowe said: “I’m absolutely buzzing. It’s a great feeling, not just for me but for the team as well. We needed that win. We’ve been working so hard in training and we finally got our rewards today. I’m delighted to have scored two goals but, like I said, it’s all about the team.”
Reading manager Kelly Chambers was also full of praise for Rowe, saying: “She’s been fantastic since she joined the club. She works hard every day in training and she got her just rewards today. I’m so pleased for her. She fully deserves it and I hope there’s many more to come from her.”
This time her free-kick was even better, finding the top corner once again to complete an incredible turnaround and earn her side a point.
It was a stunning display from Rowe, who has now scored five goals in her last six WSL games. She’s been in outstanding form lately and is quickly becoming one of the most exciting players in the league.
If she can keep this up, there’s no doubt that she has the potential to become one of the best players in the world.
