Simona Halep returned to world's top ten and now is at the same position with Serena Williams.

The Romanian tennis player Simona Halep will rise to number 10, meaning she is now equal with Serena Williams.
This is the first time since August 2021 that Simona Halep has been in the top 10 and she’ll be looking to continue her good form when she faces Aryna Sabalenka in the final.
Simona Halep has had an excellent year so far, winning the Bucharest Open and reaching the finals of both Wimbledon and the French Open. She will be hoping to add another title to her collection with a win at the National Bank Open.
Simona Halep is back in the world’s top ten after her victory at the Qatar Open. She is now tied with Serena Williams for tenth place. Halep came from a set down to beat US star Jessica Pegula in the semis and set up a clash with Brazil’s Beatriz Haddad Maia on Sunday.
If she wins the final, it will be her first title since 2019. Halep has had a tough few years, battling injuries and struggling for form. But she seems to be back to her best and is one of the favorites for this year’s French Open.
Serena Williams is also back in the top ten after her run to the Australian Open final. She is currently ninth but could move up to eighth if she wins her next tournament. Williams has been in superb form this year and will be one of the favorites for Wimbledon.
Simona Halep and Serena Williams are two of the best players in the world and it is great to see them back in the top ten. It should be a great year for both of them. Simona Halep is currently ranked tenth in the world, with Serena Williams just behind her in ninth position. However, if Williams wins her next tournament, she will move up to eighth in the rankings.
