SummerSlam 2022- Ronda Rousey has doubled her fine. What's the reason?

At SummerSlam 2022, Rousey made her grand return to the company in a huge way as she defeated Charlotte Flair to become the new WWE Raw Women’s Champion. However, it appears that Rousey’s return has not been all smooth sailing.
According to a report from PWInsider, Rousey has been fined double for her actions. She made her return to WWE at this year’s SummerSlam, and she was not happy with the way that she was treated. She was fined $10,000 for spitting on WWE Official Baron Corbin, and she wasn’t happy about it.
In an interview with FOX Sports, Rousey said that she was planning on appealing the fine, but she decided to pay it instead. “I was going to appeal it, and then I was like, ‘You know what Ronda, just pay the damn fine. You’re not tough enough to fight WWE,’” - the star said.
Rousey then said that she decided to pay the fine in “the most Ronda Rousey way possible,” which was by filling a bag with cash. She didn’t say how much money was in the bag, but it was clearly more than $10,000.
While Rousey is no longer with WWE, it’s good to see that she’s still finding ways to entertain the WWE Universe.
The report states that Ronda was initially fined $5,000 but the fine was later doubled to $10,000.
Rousey was interviewed by Charly Caruso backstage after her SmackDown appearance. When asked why she decided to pay her fine, Rousey said: “I’m a fighter. I don’t back down from a challenge.”
Rousey also said that she plans on being at SummerSlam, despite her fine. “I will be at SummerSlam,” Rousey said. “I don’t know how, but I will be there.” She was fined last week after she attacked WWE referee Chad Patton during RAW. Rousey has been involved in a feud with WWE official Kurt Angle, who she will face at SummerSlam.
There is no word on what Rousey did to deserve the fine but it is speculated that she may have broken some sort of rule or regulation.
Rousey is no stranger to disciplinary action from the WWE as she was previously suspended for 60 days back in 2018 for hitting a referee with a steel chair.
It will be interesting to see if Rousey ends up revealing the reason for her fine or if she will keep it to herself. Regardless, it’s good to see her back in the WWE and hopefully she can stay out of trouble.
