The latest news about the NWSL Championship.

The NWSL semifinals will take place Sunday, Oct. 29. The first game will see the Portland Thorns take on Sky Blue FC at 3 p.m. EDT (12 p.m. PDT) at Providence Park in Portland, Oregon.
The second game of the day will feature the Orlando Pride and the Chicago Red Stars at 6:30 p.m. EDT (3:30 p.m. PDT) at Exploria Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
OL Reign and Kansas City will meet again in the NWSL Championship game in 2022. It will be the first time the two teams have faced each other in the NWSL Championship game.
The NWSL Championship is the annual championship game of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). The NWSL is the top level professional women’s soccer league in the United States. It was founded in 2012 and began play in 2013.
The NWSL Championship is contested by the two teams with the best records in the NWSL regular season. The NWSL regular season is a 22-game season that runs from April to October.
During the regular season, Portland went unbeaten at home while San Diego only dropped one decision on the road. The teams also met in the NWSL Fall Series with Portland winning both games.
And while both players are no longer with their NWSL teams—McNabb was traded to the Orlando Pride in the offseason and Morgan is on loan with Tottenham Hotspur of the FA Women’s Super League—they could still have an impact on who takes home this year’s NWSL Championship title.
