The most expensive women's football transfers of all time.

The fee for the England international is reported to be €3 million (£2.7 million/$3.5 million), which would make her the most expensive women’s football transfer of all time.
Keira Walsh, who can operate as a defensive midfielder or centre-back, has been with Manchester City since 2015 and has helped the club win four league titles, three FA Cups and two League Cups.
At just 25 years of age, Walsh has already established herself as one of the best players in the English game and was named in the PFA Women’s Super League Team of the Year for 2019/20.
If the move to Barcelona goes through, she will surpass Alexandra Popp as the most expensive women’s football transfer of all time. Popp moved from Wolfsburg to Lyon in 2017 for a fee of €2.5 million.
Barcelona are currently top of the Spanish league and are through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League. They will face Atlético Madrid in the last eight. Barcelona are now said to be in “pole position” to sign the 25-year-old, who would become the most expensive women’s footballer of all time.
Walsh is out of contract at City at the end of the season, and has been linked with a move away from the club for some time. The midfielder has been a key player for City since joining the club in 2017, making 47 appearances and scoring four goals.
She was also a member of the England squad that reached the semi-finals of the 2019 World Cup. Barcelona are said to be willing to pay £250,000 (€280,000) for Walsh, which would eclipse the current record transfer fee for a women’s footballer.
That fee was set last year when Barcelona paid Atlético Madrid £170,000 (€200,000) for midfielder Alexia Putellas.
If the move does go through, Walsh will be reunited with her former England team-mate Lucy Bronze, who joined Barcelona from Lyon last year.
