Canada Soccer recently launched the Canada Soccer Women and Leadership Program to support women in Canada who are coaching or looking to become coaches.

The program provides both financial assistance and access to Canada’s network of experts, enabling female coaches in Canada to advance their knowledge, skills, and qualifications. The Northwest Territories Soccer Association encourages all interested women to apply for this program as a way to gain the skills and expertise needed for a successful career in coaching.

Canada Soccer is actively working to increase the number of female coaches. Canada Soccer has a program called Canada Soccer Women in Coaching that provides resources and training for women interested in coaching soccer.

NWT Soccer is doing their part as well, offering education seminars for coaches, including sessions specifically focused on getting more women involved in coaching. NWT Soccer is also encouraging female players to get into coaching by offering free coaching courses and mentorship opportunities.

The NWT Soccer Association is committed to making soccer a more inclusive environment and it is encouraging Canada’s soccer women to join the coaching ranks. Through Canada Soccer’s Women and Leadership Program, female coaches can develop their leadership capabilities, enhance professional development opportunities, and create pathways for further progression as an expert in Canada soccer.

Canada Soccer is about helping build a strong foundation of women who have the capacity to lead Canada Soccer in the future. The Northwest Territories Soccer Association is proud to support Canada Soccer’s efforts and looks forward to seeing more female coaches involved in Canada soccer.
