Donna’s career highlights include a bronze medal in the 4x400 metres relay at the 1997 World Championships in Athens and a gold medal in the 400 metre hurdles at the 1999 European Indoor Championships.

Donna also represented Great Britain at three Olympic Games, her best finish being 8th place in the 400 metre event at Sydney 2000. Donna retired from competitive athletics in 2002 and was appointed MBE in 2005. Donna went on to become a coach, working with the Commonwealth Games England Athletics Team at Gold Coast 2018, as well as coaching and mentoring athletes on an individual basis.

Donna is also a qualified personal trainer and runs her own business, Donna Fraser Fitness. Donna has been involved in speaking engagements and charity work, delivering motivational talks to school children and working with charities such as Sports Aid.
