Valentina Shevchenko speaks about her future in UFC career.

In her latest interview, Valentina Shevchenko stated that she plans on transitioning into boxing and has already started to train for her new venture. “I am planning to move to boxing. I have already started training in boxing. I do not want to share all the details yet, but it will be a big project”. This will be a big change for the former UFC Women’s Flyweight champion, as she looks to take on a new challenge in her career. Boxing is a completely different sport than MMA, and it will be interesting to see how Shevchenko fares in the ring. “I think the UFC is doing a great job with the 125-pound division,” Shevchenko said in an interview with MMA Junkie. “They are putting on great fights, and there are a lot of hungry girls who want to take my title. I’m excited to see what the future holds for me". The UFC currently doesn’t have an opponent for Shevchenko, but with the UFC Flyweight title on the line at UFC 255, there are plenty of options for ‘Bullet’ to choose from. UFC president Dana White has been on record as saying that Cyborg is the UFC’s best female fighter, but with Shevchenko holding two wins over the UFC women’s featherweight champion, it’s hard to argue against her being at or near the top of the list. Shevchenko has had an up-and-down time in UFC so far, going 2-2 overall. She is coming off of a loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 196, but she holds wins over Sarah Kaufman and Holly Holm.
