The 32-year-old bantamweight has not fought since her loss to Gina Mazany back in March 2020 and was scheduled to face off against Talita Bernardo in August, but the pandemic forced the cancellation of the event.

McCann was then linked to a fight with former title challenger Sarah Kaufman for the UFC’s return to England in October, but that too fell through.

The Liverpudlian is currently ranked at number 14 in the UFC’s bantamweight division and with the top 15 all fighting regularly, it is hard to see when McCann will get her next opportunity.

When will Molly McCann return to the UFC?

Molly McCann is expected to return to the UFC in early 2023. Molly McCann’s next fight will be against an opponent to be announced at a later date. Molly McCann is currently ranked as the number 14th women’s flyweight fighter in the UFC and will look to move up the rankings with a win in her next fight.

Molly McCann’s last fight was a dominant performance against Lara Procopio. Molly McCann will look to continue her winning ways when she enters the UFC octagon again.

Molly McCann’s manager, Greg Jones, has said that the UFC is very much interested in having Molly back and that negotiations are currently ongoing. It is hoped that Molly will be able to return to the UFC by early 2020.

So far, Molly McCann’s UFC career has been nothing short of spectacular. She holds a UFC record of 2-1-0.

However, with the UFC looking to put on more events in the UK in 2023, it is likely that Molly McCann will get another chance to showcase her talents on the big stage in the near future.
