Who is nominated for BT Sport Action Woman of the Year?

BT Sport’s Action Woman of the Year will be announced at the BT Sport Industry Awards in 2022.

This year’s nominees are:

• Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce: The Jamaican sprinter is a two-time Olympic champion and holds the second-fastest time in the 100m.

• Simone Biles: The American gymnast is a five-time Olympic medalist and is widely considered to be the greatest gymnast of all time.

• Caster Semenya: The South African middle-distance runner is a two-time Olympic champion and currently holds the world record in the 800m.

• Katarina Johnson-Thompson: The British heptathlete is the current world champion and also holds the European record for the event.

• Rachael Atherton: The British mountain biker is a five-time world champion and has won the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup overall title a record six times.

These women have all achieved extraordinary things in their field, so it is sure to be a close race. BT Sport will be celebrating the work of these athletes and many more at the BT Sport Industry Awards. Make sure to tune in to find out who takes home the prestigious title.
