Who will win the US Open 2022?

This US Open has been full of surprises, with several big names falling early on in the tournament. However, the final four is a who’s who of women’s tennis, and it should make for two very exciting semifinal matches.

Victoria Azarenka vs Naomi Osaka

This is a rematch of the 2020 US Open final, which saw Osaka come out on top in straight sets. Since then, Azarenka has gone on to win her first title of the year at the Ostrava Open and she will be looking to add a second US Open title to her resume.

Osaka, on the other hand, has had a bit of a tough year. She started off strong by winning the Australian Open, but she has struggled since then. She did make it to the semifinals of the French Open, but she lost to eventual champion Iga Swiatek.

Despite her struggles, Osaka is still one of the best players in the world and she will be a tough opponent for Azarenka.

Serena Williams vs Jennifer Brady

This is a rematch of the 2020 US Open semifinal, which saw Williams come out on top in straight sets.

However, both players have had very different years since then. Brady has been one of the breakout stars of 2021, winning her first WTA title at the Dubai Tennis Championships and reaching her first Grand Slam final at the French Open.

Williams, on the other hand, has struggled for much of the year. She did make it to the semifinals of the Australian Open, but she lost to eventual champion Naomi Osaka.

Despite her struggles, Williams is still one of the best players in the world and she will be a tough opponent for Brady.
